Ittaq is proud to receive a new funding award from Tides Canada to support research on Clyde River’s marine environment. The funding will support an Ittaq-led project that will bring together Elders, hunters, youth, and local photographers and videographers. The project will have several components, including documenting Inuit knowledge of our oceans and ice, as well as our culture and heritage that connects deeply to this environment. We will work with local leaders, researchers and others throughout the project. The Clyde River Knowledge Atlas will play a centre role in assembling and sharing knowledge from this exciting new project.
